Alves Fuels offers residential fuel delivery you can count on. You don’t have to worry about running out of oil because Alves Fuels will automatically deliver fuel to your home or business. In addition, with the help of our modern computer system, our staff will monitor your heating requirements so that you get the heating oil you need when you need it at the daily cash price.
Automated And Will-Call Delivery Services
We offer automated and will-call delivery for your heating needs. You can easily set up automated delivery so you never run out, or give us a call and set up delivery if you monitor your own fuel needs. We do recommend that you call and schedule your delivery when you have about a quarter tank full. This will ensure we can schedule your delivery and you won’t have to worry about running out in the meantime.
During our peak season, we cannot guarantee same-day delivery. You may also want to read our article “Why shopping around is costing you more”. This provides you with insight into why waiting and shopping around don’t always provide you with the peace of mind you need to run your heating system.
*If you run out of fuel and we need to restart your system, there will be an additional $35.00 charge added to your delivery cost. Our minimum delivery is 100 gallons.

Why should I be on automatic fuel delivery?
Automated oil delivery takes the guesswork out of keeping your home heated and happy with a reliable and on-time service that you don’t even have to think about. No worrying about scheduling or forgetting to get your oil on time. In addition, we have an easy online process that makes this option even more effortless.
I am running low on oil, when should I call to schedule an oil delivery?
We recommend you order when your oil gauge reads 1/4 tank. This will ensure you will receive your oil delivery on time and avoid running out of oil.
You can place your order online via My Account or call during business hours. We do not accept orders for oil via email.
Is there a minimum-gallon requirement for fuel delivery?
We do require a minimum delivery order to all cities and towns we service. Please note, if you place an order and your tank is unable to meet the minimum, you will be charged a delivery fee.
Do you offer prime and start services?
Yes, we do offer prime services. A prime and start service is typically needed if you run out of oil. If you require this service, please let our customer service representative know when you call to place your order. Prime and emergency delivery services are offered at an additional fee. Do I need to be home when you deliver?
You don’t need to be home when we make your delivery. We will leave you a copy of the delivery ticket and your account will be charged following the delivery.
If you ran out of fuel and needed to have your system primed, our driver will need to meet you in order to restart your system accordingly.
Do you deliver on weekends?
We do not schedule any deliveries for the weekend. Although, during winter, our drivers will go out on the weekends to meet high volumes and ensure our customers receive their deliveries.
Do you offer same day delivery?
Our delivery schedule typically takes place within 1-2 business days after your order is placed. If you run out of oil, we provide emergency services to get your heating system going. Give us a call to arrange this emergency service if needed. (413) 589-0797
